Lennon says his Celtic players relaxed about run-in

Celtic manager Neil Lennon insists his players are not feeling any added pressure during this season's final run to the title.

The Hoops are currently a point behind Old firm rivals Rangers but have a game in hand as they strive to win their first Scottish Premier League title in three years.

Lennon said this player were purely focused on the job at hand and is confident they will end up on top of the table come season's end.

"All the fixtures in the run-in are dangerous games for us but I think the players have their eyes on the prize and after coming through the game at Ibrox on Sunday they've got tunnel vision, " he told the Daily Record.

"I don't think they're feeling any sort of pressure. I'm sure there will be a few bumps along the way. We've had a few already.

"Do they have the mental strength? That's the question everyone has been asking all season. We've just taken each game on its own merits and the players have responded brilliantly."

And Lennon added that to become champions whilst he is manager would far outweigh anything he achieved as a Celtic player.

"To lift a trophy as manager would eclipse anything I ever did as a player. It would be the best thing to happen in my professional life," he added.

"The championship is my priority, it has been since the start of the season, and that aim hasn't wavered. We still have a bit to do but to take some silverware and reward the supporters for everything they've given us this season would be very satisfying."
