Lennon looking for improved Celtic showing for Rangers meeting

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has implored his players to step up again when they take on Rangers on Wednesday.

The Hoops have cut their Glasgow rivals' lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League table to one point ahead of the meeting at Parkhead and Lennon us looking for a vast improvement on the 4-2 loss at Ibrox back in September.

"We didn't do ourselves justice at Ibrox," he said.

"I'm looking for the players to be highly motivated, to compete better and play better than they did in the first Old Firm game, in the second 45 minutes anyway.

"We have to play well, play strongly, and we'll have to play to the occasion as best we can.

"If we do that we'll give ourselves a great chance of winning the game."
