Lennon late show seals Liverpool's fate

Tottenham made it three league wins on the bounce as they came from behind to defeat Liverpool 2-1 at White Hart Lane. Aaron Lennon struck an injury-time winner as he earned Spurs a dramatic win against Liverpool.

The home side had gone behind when Martin Skrtel stabbed in a shot from 10 yards just before the break, but the same player became villain in the second half when he turned a Luka Modric cross into his own net.

Jermain Defoe had missed a Spurs penalty then had a goal disallowed for offside before Lennon's late winner.

Spurs move just a point behind Manchester City, who occupy the fourth Champions League spot.
