Lennon keen as Spurs plan swap bid for Everton winger Mirallas

Tottenham are willing to offer Aaron Lennon in a swap for Everton winger Kevin Mirallas.

The Mirror says Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign the Belgian wideman, who has just 18 months left on his Goodison deal.

Everton chief Roberto Martinez is desperate to keep hold of the 27-year-old despite the storm over him failing from the spot, after over-ruling designated penalty taker Leighton Baines during Monday's 0-0 draw with West Brom.

But Tottenham are ready to spend and are also keen to off-load England winger Lennon, who is also 27 and has a year and a half left on his contract.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to start the bidding with a significant cash offer for Mirallas - preferring to offer a small fee, plus Lennon - who is believed to be keen on a move to the Goodison club.
