Lennon heaps praise on Celtic young gun Forrest

Celtic manager Neil Lennon suggests James Forrest is the best youngster he has worked alongside.

The 21-year old winger returned to the Hoops line-up after two months on the sidelines with injury to score in the 4-0 win over Ross County on the weekend and his efforts were not lost on a very enthusiastic Lennon.

"It's a huge bonus to have James back. He allows us to go to our more natural formation. You can see Gary Hooper come alive when James is on, the way he stretches defences and opens them up with his pace," he said after Hooper netted a double along with goals from Forrest and skipper Scott Brown.

"He got a goal and that was great but he felt his hamstring a little bit. If we lost him for a length of time again we would be devastated because of the wonderful talent he is.

"James knows if he has any niggles he has to report them right away. We'll monitor him and he has worked really hard the last six or seven weeks.

"Guys like him are hard to find. What price could you put on James? He's THE best kid I've worked with. And one of the best players I've seen for a long time for his age.

"He comes alive and makes people get up off their seats. To have him back at this stage of the season is great."
