Lennon has one goal and one goal only - win the title with Celtic

Celtic boss Neil Lennon simply has one goal this season, and that is to win the Scottish Premier League title. The Hoops manager admits he sometimes catches himself thinking about his future in the game and is well aware that the only way to stay ahead of the pack and continue on his role is by taking this seasons Premiership.

Lennon is more than halfway through his one-year deal and is planning to get that extended by leading the Bhoys to glory.

"Obviously, the longer the season goes on, you start to think about your own situation," said Lennon.

"But it won't distract me from my ultimate goal, which is challenging for the league title. I'm under no illusions what the remit was. I think we've improved a great deal since last season but we've won nothing yet.

"I'm enjoying what I'm doing and where the team's going and I don't want to upset the applecart.

"I think, probably in my own mind, (the remit) is to win the league. But that's just my opinion."

Celtic are currently five points ahead of title rivals Rangers, who have two games in hand, ahead of this weekend's Scottish Cup fifth round clash at Ibrox.
