Lennon has call on Celtic's Man Utd and Liverpool targets Wanyama, Hooper

Celtic boss Neil Lennon believes he gets the right to decide of the likes of Victor Wanyama and Gary Hooper will be sold this January.

The Kenyan midfielder has emerged as a target for Manchester United whilst Liverpool and Southampton are showing considerable interest in striker Hooper.

Lennon expects some big-money bids to come in for the pair but he suggests he should be able to decide if he wants to offload them like he did with Aiden McGeady to Spartak Moscow in 2010.

"As I have said before, everyone has their price and I think I will have a say in the decision if a huge bid comes in for any of the players," said Lennon.

"But I don't want them to go. I want them to see this season out anyway and make a real fist of the competitions. There are not many teams still going on four fronts - including the Champions League - with half the season gone.

"Will I have the final say? I would like to think so, yeah. At the time when Aiden McGeady was leaving I felt it was good business

"It was a good offer and something where we could use the money on the team."
