Tottenham have received a boost ahead of their vital clash with Chelsea as winger Aaron Lennon has declared himself fit.

The 22-year old has been out of action all year with a troublesome groin injury and it was expected he may miss even more time after breaking down at training earlier this week but it seems he has made a rapid recovery and believes he will be right for the White Hart Lane fixture against the league leaders.

It is great news for both Spurs and England national team officials who will sure to have fingers crossed if Lennon plays on the weekend.
