Lekic leaves New England Revolution for Lyngby

Rajko Lekic has departed New England Revolution to return to Denmark with Lyngby BK.

The 30-year old striker spent just one season with the Revs, scoring six goals in 23 appearances, but has decided to move on by signing a one-and-a-half-year deal with the Danish Superliga outfit.

The Revs opted to decline the option on Lekic at the end of the 2011 season but then came back with a revised offer which did not meet the former Silkeborg man's wishes as he wanted a full guarantee for the 2012 campaign.
