Leiweke urges LA Galaxy ace Beckham to stay involved in MLS

AEG president Tim Leiweke feels LA Galaxy star David Beckham would be better suited remaining involved with Major League Soccer.

Leiweke, who presides over the company that owns the Galaxy, is confident that Beckham's business pursuits would be far better off if he stays put in the USA amidst speculation he is set to return to England.

Beckham has a clause in his MLS contract (that expires at the end of this season) which allows him to own a franchise once his playing days are over and Leiweke has urged him to hang around and make the most of that opportunity.

} "I think David as a businessman is better suited not moving his family because he has some business options in the MLS as a potential future owner," he said.
