Leicester City have not yet acted on their interest in Caen midfielder N'Golo Kante

Leicester are in the market for a new midfielder due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of star man Esteban Cambiasso and it was reported recently that the Foxes had tabled a bid of around £8million for Caen midfielder Kante, who is seen as a possible replacement for the Argentine veteran.

However, Caen club president Jean-Francois Fortin has moved on to state that City have not launched a bid for Kante as of yet but admitted that they are indeed interested in the 24-year old.
