Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez is locked in talks with Barcelona.

The Leicester Mercury says Mahrez has been in contact with Barcelona 'for months' with the Catalan giants considering a £30million summer move for the Algerian.

Mahrez was splashed on the front page of Barcelona newspaper Sport on Thursday, the publication reporting that the 26-year-old has his heart set on a move to the Nou Camp at the end of the season.

Sport suggest last season's PFA player of the year believes his style of play is suited to Barcelona, with the reigning La Liga champions holding similar thoughts.

Barcelona are reportedly impressed with Mahrez's touch and his ability in one-on-one situations as well as his experience at the highest level, the Algerian helping City into the quarter-finals of the Champions League with four goals and two assists in Europe's top competition this term.
