Leicester City winger Marc Albrighton is looking forward to their opening day clash at Manchester United.

While the former Aston Villa man acknowledges that a trip to Manchester on the opening day presents a tough challenge, he insists that it is one which excites the City squad enormously.

"The day that the fixtures are released is always a big one and it really ramps up the excitement for the new season," Albrighton said this week.

"I am already looking forward to it and pulling on a Leicester City shirt in what will be my fifth season at the Club.

"Of course, it will be a tough one fixture away to Manchester United, but knowing the team we have here, they'll be looking at it as a tough one for them too.

"They are obviously a strong team so we will need the support of our travelling fans at Old Trafford.

"With them behind us, I am confident that we can go there and get a positive result."
