Leicester City vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha insists their chequebook is still open.
Five new players have already been added during this window.
The Foxes chief told the Leicester Mercury: "Several of our players made long-term commitments to the club during the summer months and I'm delighted.
"I'm already excited by the strength and vibrancy of the squad and we are ready to make to make further investments if the right opportunities arise.
"I'm not reluctant to spend the money. Spending money in itself is not a quality, it is spending money on a top player – that is different and we are ready to do that."
