Skysports.com claims that Leicester are poised to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Roman Bednar on loan. The Czech Republic international has struggled to hold down a regular role at the Hawthorns this season, starting just one Premier League game.
Foxes boss Sven Goran Eriksson has been desperate to bolster his attack ahead of Thursday's loan transfer deadline and was previously linked with Bednar's Baggies team-mate Ishmael Miller.
However, West Brom's reluctance to release Miller prompted the Swede to turn his attention to 27-year-old former Hearts forward Bednar, who is keen to resurrect his career in the Championship.
