Leicester City have vowed to take strict action against supporters found guilty of unruly behaviour.

Trouble broke out among the fans during Leicester's weekend 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur as various objects were thrown at the direction of the Spurs fans following Riyad Mahrez's late equalizer.

The ugly incident has not gone down well with the Foxes hierarchy and the East Midlands club have now vowed to punish the fans who are found guilty of such behaviour following an investigation into the matter.

The club released the following statement regarding the incident: "We are aware of disturbances that took place during Saturday's game and swift action was taken to restore order between supporters of both clubs.

"We are reviewing CCTV footage with Leicestershire Police and will take the strongest possible action against any perpetrators identified."
