Leicester City will reportedly sign Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruña by the end of the week.
Reports in Spain, according to The Sun, suggest that the Foxes have offered £12.5million for the 27-year-old striker who they have been watching closely for the past few months.
Claudio Ranieri is intent on strengthening his title-winning attack and wants to add Perez, who scored 17 La Liga goals last season, to a strike force already consisting of Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki, record signing Ahmed Musa and Leonardo Ulloa.
However, with Ulloa seeking an exit for more game time, Leicester are keen to lure a new attacker to the King Power Stadium which could come in the form of speedy Deportivo ace Perez who has drawn comparisons with Foxes hero Vardy in recent times.
