Leicester City are planning a summer move for French midfielder Clement Chantome, according to reports from L'Equipe.

Chantome was reportedly the subject of a £2million bid from Leicester on deadline day but Bordeaux decided to reject the offer.

Nonetheless, Chantome is still expected to leave Bordeaux in the foreseeable future as his contract at the club is set to expire at the end of the current campaign and according to reports, it has been claimed that the league leading Foxes will revive their interest in the 28-year-old in the summer transfer window.

Chantome joined Bordeaux on an 18-month deal in January 15 after spending close to a decade with Paris Saint-Germain.
