Released Manchester City fullback Bacary Sagna admits he's had plenty offers from across Europe.

Now a free agent, the Frenchman is yet to settle on a new club, despite doing a full preseason on his own in preparation of joining a new team.

Sagna told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I had the opportunity to sign for various clubs in Turkey and England.

"There is interest in Portugal, France and Italy. But I'd like to play at the highest level, I know my value.

"I am looking for an ambitious team. It's not about money."

Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare has confirmed their interest in Sagna in the last 24 hours.
