Leicester City striker Islam Slimani is attracting transfer interest from beyond Europe.

Slimani spent the second-half of last season on-loan with Newcastle United.

Saudi Arabian outlet Aleqtisadiah reports ex-Sporting boss Jorge Jesus - who is rumoured to the close to take over at Al-Hilal FC - wants to bring Slimani with him to the Middle East.

Algeria international Slimani has been linked with a return to former club Sporting, as well as to West Ham and Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are uninterested in turning the 29-year-old's failed loan move into a permanent deal.
