Leicester City striker Islam Slimani says Sporting CP is always in his thoughts.

Slimani is backing his old club to win the Portuguese championship.

"If Sporting becomes champions, as I believe, I guarantee I'll be in Lisbon to celebrate," he said.

"I am and always will be a lion.

"Sporting have a good team and a good coach. What about the reinforcements, I can say is that when Jorge Jesus chooses a player, he knows what he's doing."
