Leicester forward Jamie Vardy is aware he needs to improve this season if he is to be considered for England's 2018 World Cup squad.
The 30-year managed 13 Premier League goals last season compared to the 24 he bagged in Leicester's miracle 2015-16 campaign and Vardy will be hoping he can get closer to that total this upcoming season.
"Obviously I want to score more than I did last year." he said. "That is down to me with my striking and making sure I am getting the goals so I am playing on a regular basis to do that.
"Then if I have had a good season who knows? It could be the World Cup next year."
