Leicester snap up Man City defender Mee

Leicester City have snapped up Manchester City defender Ben Mee.

The youngster has signed on-loan to the end of the season.

Mee made his debut for City in the Carling Cup earlier in the season and has joined Leicester to build up his first-team experience.

He joins team-mate Greg Cunningham at the Walkers Stadium, although he will not be able to face his parent club in the FA Cup third round next weekend.

"Knowing that England are still watching me and that they have the belief in me has given me a lot of confidence," Mee told the club's official website.

"It's given me the motivation to keep going, and hopefully I can get into the squad for the Euros next summer.

"I had a big boost and a lift from the whole experience and now I hope to get another one at Leicester."
