Esteban Cambiasso is excited about his move to Leicester City.
Cambiasso has won pretty much all there is in the game, including La Liga with Real Madrid, Serie A with Inter Milan, as well as the Champions League under Jose Mourinho in 2010. This is his first time in the Premier League.
"I need to play in the Premier League," said Cambiasso. "This is a great possibility. I am very, very happy because it is the beginning of my history in the Premier League."
"I hope in the future this is a great history. I hope to make good matches for me, for the club and for the fans."
City boss Nigel Pearson said he was "delighted" to have secured the signing of one of the game's most decorated players.
"Cambiasso is not a bums-on-seats signing. He is here to be a footballer and play football," said Pearson.
"I am delighted that we have been able to do the deal. If Cambiasso was younger, he would not be playing for us."
