Arsenal have poached Leicester City's head of technical scouting Ben Wrigglesworth.

Wrigglesworth is the man responsible for identifying Foxes stars Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante, both of whom have been influential in Leicester's meteoric rise to the top of the Premier League standings this season.

Wrigglesworth took to Twitter to confirm he is leaving the King Power Stadium to join the Gunners.

"After 3 + 1/2 unbelievable seasons, working with amazing people, I am now starting a new chapter," Wrigglesworth tweeted.

"It was a very difficult decision, leaving Leicester, but I had to take an opportunity that doesn't come round often.

"I only wish the best for Leicester in the future and will always be eternally grateful to them for getting me to where I am."
