Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric is desperate to add one big name to his squad as he attempts to mount a promotion charge. And the Serbian millionaire is prepared to battle Wigan and Bolton in the race to sign the former Liverpool midfielder.

Murphy, 30, snubbed a loan move to the Walkers Stadium last season but is running out of options.
