Leicester City remain locked in talks with David Nugent over a new deal.
The Leicester Mercury says the delay in Nugent committing to a new deal has alerted several clubs keen on taking the 29-year-old, including other Premier League sides.
However, talks between City and Nugent's representatives are ongoing.
