Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson's only concern with the 4-0 win over Burnley was why the Foxes could not produce that sort of performance on a regular basis. The win puts City within five points of the play-offs with six matches left but the Swede feels they could be closer.
Eriksson said: "We were back to form today, it makes me happy but also I am a little bit angry.
"It was a top-class performance from everyone, including the three subs. Everyone did fantastic.
"But we should be playing like this more often, and that makes me angry.
"Today we were focused. There were no mistakes, we were patient after going 1-0 in keeping the ball - top, top class.
"But the players we have, and the team we have - we should do it more often.
"So I hope we can do it for the last six games because if we play football like this, it is not easy to beat us.
"We have played good football in most of our games, not every game, but we have made silly mistakes that have cost us a lot of points."
Clarets boss Eddie Howe admitted the better side had won and conceded their own play-off ambitions were all but over.
Howe said: "They were by far the better team. They scored a good first goal, but we were still in it at half-time.
"But as soon as the second goal went in it was going to be a tough afternoon.
"Leicester kept the ball very well and it was pretty hard to watch at times.
"We are now going to have to go on an incredible run to make the play-offs.
"Once we get one win we will be fine but we have just lost our way a little at the moment."
