Leicester City are looking to hand new signing Adrien Silva regular match practice by scheduling behind-close-doors friendlies.

Adrien Silva has been allowed to train with the Leicester City first-team but the Portugal international still cannot play any official fixtures for the Foxes while FIFA retain his registration.

And in order to get him back to full fitness, the 2015/16 Premier League champions are looking to schedule behind-close-doors friendlies.

"It's been good to have Adrien Silva training with us," said Shakespeare in his match-day magazine notes for last night's 1-1 draw with West Brom at the King Power Stadium.

"Clearly, there is still a situation to resolve, but it's good for everyone that he's now able to train as it helps him to properly integrate into the group."
