Leicester City will cough up £4.5 million for Hull City manager Nigel Pearson.

The Daily Star says Leicester will have to pay £1m in compensation for the 48-year-old, with Tigers backroom staff Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh also making the move.

Pearson, who left the Foxes last year, has been rewarded with a £1m-a-year deal over three-and-a-half years.

And he has been promised substantial funds in January's transfer window.
