Leicester City are ready to hand Craig Shakespeare the manager's job.
The deposed champions have made up their mind that 'Shakey' is the man to lead their relegation fight and Champions League bid, says the Daily Star.
Former England boss Roy Hodgson, ex-Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink and Huddersfield's David Wagner have all been linked to the job as Leicester look to replace sacked Claudio Ranieri.
But it is understood Leicester want to appoint Shakespeare during the 10-day break after the visit of struggling Hull and before the Champions League second leg against Sevilla.
Shakespeare is popular with the players at the club who so clearly lost faith with Ranieri.
And by appointing him as full-time manager thy know he will have more authority for the rest of the season.
