Lazio are in the running to sign Demarai Gray from Leicester City this summer.

Correire dello Sport suggests that Gray could be available for around €20 million. It is a fee that Lazio are willing to pay.

Gray would also demand that Lazio match or better the wages he is earning in England. He managed three goals and an assist in 35 Premier League appearances last season.

It is a bit of a surprise that Leicester would be willing to part with the player, given his decent progression since he joined in 2016 from Birmingham City.

And with the future of Riyad Mahrez far from certain, selling a talented young winger in Gray would be an odd decision.

The reports could be Gray's way of trying to get a better contract at Leicester. Or perhaps his future does lie in Italy after all.
