Leicester City have offered goalkeeper Adam Smith new terms.

The Leicester Mercury says Smith has been offered a new contract by City and academy chief John Rudkin believes his experiences at Cambridge will help his development.

"Adam's experience on loan, to play at Wembley in a huge final and to win progress to the Football League was fantastic for him," he said.

"The comments and feedback from Cambridge were very positive."
