Leicester City are offering trials to Newcastle United pair Ole Soderberg and Patrick Nzuzi.

Both players have been informed they can find new club by Toon officials.

Congo-born Nzuzi is a Wallsend Boys Club product, but was among a clutch of players left to find other clubs last week, says the Evening Chronicle.

Goalkeeper Soderberg was a Dennis Wise signing back in 2007 but has failed to make the grade at Newcastle, despite several appearances on the bench in the Premier League during injury-hit periods.
