Gokhan Inler has warned England that Tuesday night's Euro2016 qualifier is not a friendly.
Inler and his Switzerland teammates meet the Three Lions at Wembley in Group E with the home side having already qualified for the UEFA competition in France next summer.
England sit six points ahead of the second-placed Swiss but captain Inler is gunning for top spot and is no mood to to play out a seemingly dead rubber.
"This is not a friendly match," said the Leicester City midfielder.
"It is a very important game for us, and we know the English will always play 100 per cent.
"We had a positive chat after we won the last game. Every player wants to play. I spoke to my team-mates and there is still the same respect for me within the team.
"Spirit is vital for our progress. You can see that from the last results."
