Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater is happy to have fought his way back into the starting line-up.
The 24-year-old made his first start in five Premier League matches as City slipped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of champions Manchester City.
"I've just been trying to be as patient as I can, really," Drinkwater told the Leicester Mercury. "I enjoyed being back out there. It was disappointing not to get the three points but I'm back on the pitch now, which is important for me.
"It's important for me to have a run of games. It's not all about that, though, I want to the team to do well.
"It's been a frustrating time for everyone and me being a nuisance around the place isn't going to help anyone.
"I've just been getting my head down and working hard."
