Leicester City are set for talks with Cardiff City striker Fraizer Campbell.

The Leicester Mercury says the Foxes have triggered a release clause in the contract of Cardiff striker Campbell.

Sources close to the player have confirmed that City have met the £800,000 release figure in the 26-year-old's contract and will hold talks with the former Manchester United academy graduate.

Campbell is keen to remain in the Premier League after Cardiff's relegation.
