Leicester manager Puel hints at January departures

Claude Puel has hinted Leicester could look to offload some of their players in the winter transfer window.

A number of established veterans, namely Shinji Okazaki and Adrien Silva, have been linked with exits from King Power Stadium due to their lack of playing time this season.

And Puel knows he can't keep every player in his squad happy.

He said: "Perhaps the transfer window in January is a good opportunity to reduce a little the size of the squad and to keep players with good, positive attitudes and concentration in our games.

"We know, when we have more than 30 players, it's difficult to keep all the intensity and motivation for the players.

"I think for them, for us, it's a good thing to find a good balance in the squad and we will see in time, after some discussions with some players, we will see the desire from them."
