Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric is hoping to unearth "another Harry Redknapp" as he looks to fill the void left by manager Gary Megson's switch to Bolton.
And the former Portsmouth chief is now hoping to forge another dynamic partnership with a Redknapp-type figure after their successful collaboration at Fratton Park saw Pompey make their name in the top flight.
"I am looking for another Harry Redknapp to stay with me and get the job done," Mandaric told Sky Sports News.
"I want a stable guy with some loyalty, who signs a contract and doesn't leave in six weeks."
Mandaric admitted he expects to speak to potential candidates today (Thursday).
"I don't want to talk about managers who are employed, it's not fair to their clubs," he added.
"We'll see in the next few days as there is a list of four or five on there and I am starting the process of talking to them this afternoon."
