Leicester City are launching a bid for AS Monaco winger Rachid Ghezzal.

Le 10 Sport says Foxes boss Claude Puel is preparing an offer for the attacker as he seeks a replacement for Riyad Mahrez after his move to Manchester City.

The Algeria international joined Monaco ahead of Everton, but struggled last season under coach Leonardo Jardim.

Ghezzal is tied to ASM until 2021, but could be on the move for the right offer.

While an Algeria international, Ghezzal is French born and raised and a former France U20 international.
