Leicester City are moving for Stoke City winger Ben Marshall.

The Daily Star Sunday says Nigel Pearson is lining up a shock £600,000 bid for Marshall.

Leicester boss Pearson will battle Hull and Charlton in a scrap to sign the playmaker this month.

Marshall has impressed on loan at Sheffield Wednesday this term and the Owls are keen to extend his stay until the end of the season.

The midfielder, 20, has been in talks with the Potters to extend his contract, with his deal running out in the summer.
