Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward is excited by the test posed by Valencia in the side's upcoming friendly.

The Premier League team are playing their first home friendly ahead of the upcoming season.

And recent signing Ward, who arrived from Liverpool, is excited at the prospect of facing the prestigious Spanish club.

"It'll be my first time there as well as a Leicester player," Ward told LCFC TV.

"It wasn't so good last time I turned up there with Liverpool. It would be great to see, especially if we can sell it out.

"It would be fantastic to get a real feel of the atmosphere and see what the boys have been working on. Hopefully it comes to fruition in that game."
