Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is attracting Premier League interest.
The People says Schmeichel is set to leave Leicester when his contract expires at the end of the season - putting Newcastle United and Arsenal on red alert.
The Foxes rejected three offers from Premier League new boys Hull in the summer - the third in excess of £2million - but are resigned to the fact they will lose him at the end of the season unless they win promotion to the top flight.
Toon boss Alan Pardew and his Gunners counterpart Arsene Wenger are both admirers of Schmeichel, the son of Manchester United legend Peter, and see him as ideal back-up to current No.1s Tim Krul and Wojciech Szczesny.
