Kasper Schmeichel is determined to make a very quick return to action with Leicester City and Denmark.
The goalkeeper underwent surgery for a hernia on Monday after being forced off during the weekend's 2-1 win over Swansea City.
Despite the issue, Schmeichel was called up by Denmark for their opening 2018 World Cup qualifier against Armenia this weekend and has suggested he could even feature in the match in Copenhagen.

This suggests that Schmeichel, 29, will be fit for Leicester's next Premier League fixture against Liverpool at Anfield on September 10, however, he will certainly miss Denmark's friendly with Liechtenstein on Wednesday.
