Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has emerged as a transfer target for Italian giants AC Milan.
Reports suggest that the 27-year old Dane, who is out of contract in the summer, is being earmarked as a replacement for veteran Christian Abbiati at the San Siro.
It is believed that new Rossoneri boss Clarence Seedorf is keen on the son of Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel and is eager to move for him this month.
Schmeichel Jnr is the established number one at Leicester, who sit on top of the Championship table, following spells with Manchester City, Notts County and Leeds United.
