Leicester keen on Everton striker Vellios

Leicester City are contemplating a loan move for Everton striker Apostolos Vellios.

With Nikica Jelavic, Denis Stracqualursi and Victor Anichebe fit and available, David Moyes may be tempted into allowing the 20-year-old Vellios leave on a temporary basis to gain further first-team experience.

Foxes boss Nigel Pearson must decide whether to push for Vellios after seeing Jermaine Beckford win an appeal against a looming ban.
