A heated row is believed to have taken place last Friday just 48 hours before the first leg of the Championship play-off semi-final against Cardiff.

Reports have claimed that Brown was involved in the incident and that he could be offloaded by the Foxes in the summer.

The club statement read: "Leicester City Football Club would like to issue the following statement regarding the recent enquiries concerning Leicester City player, Wayne Brown.

"Wayne Brown remains a Leicester City player and any alleged incidents will be investigated and dealt with internally."
