Leicester City have tabled a four-year contract to Jamie Vardy.

The Leicester Mercury says Vardy has been offered a new four-year contract by Leicester City and talks over personal terms are said to be positive.

Vardy scored 16 goals last season, which has attracted the attention of a number of other clubs.

He is coming into the final year of his contract and he wants to stay with the club.
