Leicester City are hopeful that their appeal against FIFA's decision to reject Adrien Silva's transfer will be overturned, according to the Leicester Mercury.
Despite agreeing a whopping £22million fee to sign Silva from Sporting Lisbon, City have been unable to use his services as of yet due to the fact that his documentation was received by the FA 14 seconds after the summer transfer deadline had passed.
Leicester have recently launched an appeal against the decision and the Foxes are said to be hopeful of having the verdict by FIFA overturned within the next week.
