Leicester City goalkeeper Ben Hamer thanked fans for their support after victory against Carabao Cup opponents Leeds United.

Kelechi Iheanacho, Islam Slimani and Riyad Mahrez struck for City following Pablo Hernández's opener for the visitors in front of a capacity King Power Stadium crowd.

Hamer told LCFC TV: “We've got great support, haven't we? You see that every week, they are loud and they come out in their numbers.

“Our fans are brilliant and the boys do really enjoy it when we play here because they get behind us and they drive us on.

"It's a pleasing 3-1 win, we're into the next round and we look forward to facing whoever we get next."
